Below you'll find more than 300 May happenings in Wichita and around the state of Kansas (and we're still adding events).
Two programs offer free admission to museums and cultural organizations in Wichita and around Kansas. The Sunflower Summer program from the Kansas Department of Tourism offers families free admission to more than 100 attractions across the state from May 25-August 11. Additionally, the Wichita Public Library has added Experience Passes to its Library of Things. Patrons may check out a free "family pack" of passes to 10 area attractions, including Botanica, the Sedgwick County Zoo, and Exploration Place.
As events are subject to change, we recommend you confirm details with the venue or host organization before attending. Many will be closed on Memorial Day, May 27.
